BEESWAX

Wax directly extracted from the beehive, in blocks.

Worker bees secrete wax to build the walls of the cells of the hive, where the larvae grow and the pollen and honey are stored.

Wax is collected during the uncapping process of the frames to obtain the honey; it can also be recycled from the remaining wax in the frame of the super.

  • Filtered and homogenized beeswax

Raw material: filtered from the wax cappings or operculum (produced by Apis Mellifera) obtained by the beekeeper and homogenized, in blocks.

Solid at room temperature, color varies from yellow to brown, rough texture at cut off (non- crystalline block fracture).

A distinctive scent with bee honey remembrance.
